I'm assuming so, Afghanistan is central/southern Asia but no fighter has represented Afghanistan on RTU. I didn't have any idea who Hamid Amiri was before this was announced, I watched a few of his fights on YouTube and I wasn't very impressed. His striking is incredibly unrefined and wild and I don't think his grappling is anything special. His level of competition is quite bad and his gym is nothing special, I would be more confident if he had good training partners and coaches but unfortunately, it looks like he doesn't. Xie Bin is a halfway decent Chinese prospect who has experience on RTU and DWCS, Xie Bin will probably smoke Hamid Amiri. But who knows maybe he will surprise some people

Nate wood va Daniel Pineda set for July 20th, this is the rumored date for ufc Manchester. It was originally the 27th but I’ve heard is being moved to the 20th (not official tho)

Allen vs Giga was also in the works for this same date

Update on 304

304 was originally supposed to be in Salt Lake City, but ufc didn’t want to do back to back ppvs. So, 304 will be on the 27th. I imagine the scheduled Brits (wood and allen) will get moved to the 27th

I’m sure they will find a replacement in time, I just hope it’s a quality opponent and not some bum from iridium that gets the fight

Also Alvarez was forced to pull out due to visa issues. He really has to get that **** sorted, his last three pullouts are all due to visa issues

@trail looks like it’s going to change. From what I’ve heard they’re still going to SLC (they have a partnership with SLC so they’re required to go every year) but idk the date. I know for a fact 304 will be in Manchester but the actual date is very confusing at the moment, especially since we have two English fighters being booked for the 20th when it was originally reported that it was going to be the 27th

@Lbbaker according to MagicM, he says he’s hearing the fight is still together but at a different date. Honestly I don’t see it staying intact because I doubt Rebecki wants to wait for the next international card (cuz no way Joel gets a U.S. visa on short notice)
